The concept seems interesting enough... I got my copy from a friend about a year ago, and I have started reading it 4 times... Ive gotten as far as page 10... cant seem to get the fire going on it though... It aint Jules Verne or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle...

It's got a big following from lots of folks, I hear. Lot's of big box churches organize their whole program around that book and similar stuff coming from the author. I also hear lots of critisms from the Evangelicals. Sounds like you have the book so why not give it a whirl. There's lots more damaging things a fella can do than read. Funny thing to me is, Christianity is a pretty simple concept, but lots of folks sure do complicate it. I'm sure that helps book sales.
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

I think it's certainly worth the read. But find out for yourself... give it a try and see if it "speaks" to you. I think you'll either love it and find all sorts of stuff in it, or you'll be bored with it. We used a couple of chapters from it for a two-day retreat inside the women's prison, and the ladies loved it.

I read it. It's good material. It's more for new believers or people that never really made Christ a priority in their life. In that regard, it's excellent.
