My new barrel came in today. Should work well on deer and pigs. T/C Encore with a braked 12 inch MGM .339 Federal barrel and a Leupold 2.5x8 scope

Nice. I have a 14" Striker in 338 fed. Recoil is not that bad really, with a brake its no problem at all.
I'm planning to hunt moose with mine. Makes climbing trees easier to have a pistol.

Finally got to try it out with some 185 gr Federal factory loads. The brake is very effective. It is very controllable and easy to shoot
