Sako rifle pic. Show me some Sako pics. I have three. One 7 mag 65,000 range serial number. Two 264 Win mags with 26” barrels. One is a three digit, and the other is in the 2000’s. I really like the old Sako’s. Sold my deluxe’s, I like these better.

I've only got one, this L579 .308 I inherited from my Dad when he passed away. It was his favorite rifle, its been carried/hunted plenty but I doubt its had more than 250 rounds through it. He bought it early in 1971, I have the tag for it showing it was inspected on 11-13-1970. It will have a new scope on it in about a week. I have a cow elk tag in his/our favorite elk hunting spot and plan on hunting with it so hope it brings me a bit of luck.

Beautiful rifles.
I have an AII in 308 Win that is my favorite rifle. Also have a Browning Safari built on a Sako action in 243. A tack driver but far too heavy for a 243. I inherited my father’s High Power this year that was his favorite. I’ll carry it this year.

So i have a couple AV's in .338, a .223 AI lightwt w/ 2x7 leupold. An AI .17 Rem hunter with iron sights and a leupold 4x14.5; An unfired m591 classic that I gave to my son for his 15 birthday. It's in .243 and wears a meoptra meopro in 3x12. I'll try and add pix of my AV M90 classic in 7mmRM and my AII's later. I'm addicted. sakos

7STW - have a SAKO L461 in .223 Rem that was purchased in mid-70's. Looks a lot like the second one from the bottom. First rifle owned that would group MOA or better. Had some stock finish issues early on but nothing a refinish job couldn't cure. Have fun shooting it against a much newer Savage M10HB - each has its own merits. Homesteader
