Got a chance to stretch three rifles out to 1000 yds, first time for me at that distance. We shot a GAP in .308 with 175 SMK's. A Remington Tactical ADL in 6.5 CM shooting factory Hornady 147 ELD M's and a Remington Sendero 1st gen in .300wm shooting Hornady 208gr ELD M's. 15-20 mph wind quartering, first round hits with all. The large spot at 8:00 are my first two with the .300, corrected for wind& elevation and my shooting partner took the next shot and hit the bull. Took 28.5 minutes to get there, I was impressed with all three rifles and loads.

Thanks to all. We had steel from 400 out to 1000 yds, shot the day before in a 25 plus mph wind out to 850. We decided to give it a run and see how much wind push we got. It was about like you'd expect but since the wind was fairly consistent it was not hard to get the windage.

It was most enjoyable, I struggle to find a place to shoot beyond 300yds where I live.

Congrats man! You're light years ahead of me, but certainly traveling the same direction.
