Can you tell me about it? Likes, dislikes. How does it shoot, kick and barrel life. I'm looking at a Weatherby Accumark RC for out west. Thanks.

I don’t have one of those yet. I have a 26 Nosler. Recoil isn’t anymore than a 7 Rem mag. I have a Sendero in 7mm ultra mag. I’m thinking about having it made into a 6.5-300 Wby.

I think you would be making a fine choice.

Nice, Fotis. I'm thanking about trying a 6.5-300 in s Vanguard? We will see. However, I will wait until I see more loading data on the cartridge?

Guys were shooting this cartridge in the 60's for a long range deer/target round.. Made a big splash for a while then faded away, then mostly due to powder there was only one or two the were suitable, and the bullets were made by drilling a match bullet.. I am not sure now if it was a Sierra, or Norma.. Hoyer was one of the early uses of this round..

I have one in the Range Certified MKV. I used it this year to take a cow Elk with factory 140 grain A-Frames. Bang flop at 250 yards.
