Just looking at these two rifles in a 6.5 creedmoore and was looking to get some opinions on one vs the other. I am very familiar with the traditional 700 and browning platforms and own both, but looking for a new toy to play/hunt with out to 500 or so.

500,any old 270 should do it,no problem.

Absolutely, or 280, or 25-06,, or 260, or 7 mag, or 30-06, etc. But then you would not be allowed to sit at the table with the COOL kids.

Creedmoor is this year's fashion trend. Next year it will be something else.

I've got 5R's in 223 and 308, bone stock. With the exception of a Cooper 222 they are the two most accurate rifles I own. I VERY highly doubt one in 6.5 would dissapoint you.

I just picked up a piece of Chit Remington 5Rs in 300 Win Mag.

First 3 shots at 100yrds off of Bags with this rifle with cheap Federal non typical 150 grainers.
