This .450 Ruger American has me thinking. A guy a know got one and he loves it.

I was surprised how fast the moose fell after receiving one round of Hornady factory through the chest. I think this would be a great deer rig but I'd drop down to 225 FTX at 2400. Really great little rifles.

Subscribed myself and yes the son unit filled the freezer with the little ruger . I really like Greg's singing  - he'll just bust out an old mountain man song while running a boat up the river - hiking a trail or driving the family around in the wilderness . Ol Mike, you must have pretty good endurance if you made it past the singing! Thanks for the sub, and Gerry too! You always seems to be trying out interesting new products for camping which I like. Same goes for the guns, cartridges and bullets, not the run of the mill stuff but interesting things. Much appreciated..........
