Mentioned already but Otis Redding. Crashed into Lake Monona couple miles from here. My dad has a ticket from the concert...can't remember if it is a stub or the whole ticket for a concert that never happened. Yeah and Stevie Ray (also mentioned) with the helicopter crash into the Alpine Valley ski hill....Wisconsin is like a Bermuda triangle for rockstars.
