I'm looking at one of these real hard in 40 caliber. I would just like to know if anybody here has one or has any experience based feedback on them. Thanks guys I appreciate it

We’ve got an S&W 99. I think that they’re pretty much identical. We’ve only run 4 or 5 hundred rounds thru it, but so far, it’s performed very well! memtb

Yeah it's a slick twist on the traditional DA auto. I have always liked them, find them a joy to shoot. I've also found it to be one of the most pleasant .40's to shoot. I think you'll like it.

I have a PPS M1 & Q5 that's a PPQ platform,,,both great guns. The P99 is a good gun for carry with the heavy trigger, and paddle mag release(if you like that)...I'm a fan of the paddle because of being Lefty.
