You guys are posting some nice rifles, but my shoulder hurts just looking at the crescent buttplates.

That is why I had a nice Cushy soft Recoil pad put on a Shotgun stock for my 1886 Turnbull 45 90

I haven't mastered Rick's pic forum yet!! But in the Gallery there is a rotate option.

Buttplate isn't too bad it's a heavy gun. I plan on shooting 405gr cast at original velocities so it will be a sweetie!!

I was jesting. I shoot mine(.45-90) with all loads and have NEVER raised a bruise on my arm.
My DG loads are 450 grains at 2150 fps and the rifle does rotate up but comes back down again on target. Usually no need for a second shot. smile
