I don't care where anybody sources their coffee - their business.

Not for me. $5 bucks a day X 5 days a week X 52 weeks is "only" $1300 a year.

Nope, just make it at home and take it with me for way cheaper. Some seem to think getting Starbucks is a necessary part of the day. You can bet they'll have the latest Iphone too

Been calling me that for over thirty years when it's clear I'm more of a wannabe redneck (that drinks darn good coffee).😀

My last experience with Starbucks was in the San Fransisco airport after getting multiple reroutes because of snow storms. We ended up there in the middle of the night, nothing open on our concourse except a Starbucks. I have never liked them but I needed some coffee and they were the only option. I asked the thoroughly gender confused individual for a cup of black coffee. It (I still to this day don't know if it was male or female) snarled in its most condescending manner they don't serve plain coffee. I asked what was close. It rolled its eyes and snarled "Americano". Its contempt for hayseed hick, middle aged, white males such as myself was palpable. I paid, $4 or $5 for the coffee and managed to choke down a couple of sips before I threw the disgusting swill in a trash can. Never again.

I very seldom go there. I don't consider my self cheap, but 5 bucks for a cup of Jo is just too much. I get a kick out the tip jar on the counter. We really need to tip them for counting change, and little more? I think not. I make a couple cups of coffee at home every morning in a cheap little drip pot and that's about it.

Nearest is 130 miles away. Plus I'm not a coffee drinker. Not much for standing in lines either.

You guys are missing his point. You do not NEED Starbucks or anything else that makes your life a little nicer. You NEED to save all you can and forsake everything else. No guns, no trips, no nice car. He is playing the "Live your life the way I tell you because you are doing it all wrong".

Reminds me of Democrats.

I disagree, he’s offering advice for living a financially sound life.

Been to a Starbucks once in my life...... We helped a guy move a big screen TV and a couch out of a house he was selling. Part of the payoff was he took us to Starbucks and he paid for everything...... Boy; did that ever cost him. That was over 10 years ago and after seeing the prices I've never been back.

we don't need to spend $$$ at Starbucks. We have Kuerig at home. I think we'd save money if we went to Starbucks

They have bar none some of the worst tasting coffee one can imagine. I am surrounded by them as well as other small scale coffee shops and the coffee is much much better at the small shops.

Went into one in a mall once. Asked for a cup of coffee. Was offered about a five minute list of candy, toy drinks none of which resembled coffee. They finally offered me a half cup "taster" of just plain black coffee. Took one sip.

Haven't been in one since.
