Couple days a week at least. Shooting girl I dated for awhile took me the first time. She also took me to Georgia Quail hunting a couple times....and Doves. She didn't have to worry all that much about her retirement. This place confuses me sometimes. In fact a different girl this year gave me a $25 Starbucks gift card for Christmas....And ones for Cabela's and LL Bean. She voted for Trump. I frequently buy one for her.

Ive had one cup of Starbucks in my life, it sucked. It sucked so bad I'd rather drink dog piss right from the tap.

I read the whole thread, and I don't even drink coffee. It's hot dirty dishwater as far as I'm concerned.

OrangeOkie: I just looked up the handsome and young (born 1953) Mr. Schulman on Wiki-Pedia and his Starbucks induced personal wealth has him valued at $3,100,000,000.00 (three billion one hundred million dollars!)!
Schulman?.... try Howard D. Shultz. Interestingly, it was never his intent to own coffee shops. He started a coffee shop to earn enough to start a nice Restaurant. That was his original goal. Hard work regardless, should be a motivator for everyone.
could be a Jewish luck thing, since Frank Lowy never intended to own global shopping centre giant Westfields. (recently sold most of it for $24 billion), Franks start in commercial property only began when the friend he went guarantor for couldn't pay the loan, ...Frank found himself stuck with the debt and decided to keep the commercial plot of land and from there the roots of his empire began.....at the time 1950s, he was just running a delicatessen in a low socio-economic area and doing deliveries 7 days a week with his business partner....the land was in the same nearby low socio economic area and was where they opened their first ‘American-style’ shopping centre [Westfield-Place], with two department stores, a supermarket and 12 shops built around a courtyard, with 50 free on-site parking spaces.

could be a Jewish luck thing..... Or could just be a savvy businessman recognizing that he was making a schitload of money selling coffee. Usually, the simplest explanation is the best. It bypasses personal bias.

I like those giant blueberry muffins and an Americano from Starbucks. I must be a hipster. I have a beard and often am seen looking pretty scruffy. Skinny jeans too? Yes. And yes on the man bun. ROFL!! we seem to have drifted miles away from coffee, maybe we never were there to start with.

This thread taught me more about people and why I hate them , than Clarks April fools joke last year. There's a miserable bunch of unhappy, judgmental, money hungry, abusive, abrasive, misunderstood, unabashed, unkempt, white men, that have a coffee fetish in America today and they own guns!

Drink 1 cup of instant a day, 1big tsp sugar, 1level tsp creamer, 3 heaping tsp of Folgers instant , 12 oz of water . Nuke 1 min 15 seconds.
Wife gets the McDonald's high end whatever on the way to work each morning. Gorges on hungry man meals, cooks his ribs in the oven because he doesn’t own a grill and drinks instant coffee. It’s all starting to make sense why you hate everyone Whats your excuse? People like you

I met some people from Seattle in 1992 and they were telling me about these people selling coffee on the side of the interstates up there and making a bundle. Told me I should buy stock in a company called Starbucks, that it was about to explode.
Of course I told them no one on the east coast gives a schitt about Seattle coffee.
I'm smart like that.

I have been to Starbucks. It's so-so. The worst part about going to any coffee stand is the pressure of tipping.
I don't tip the nice young lady for a Coke at Dairy Queen, why the hell do you hang a tip jar out for coffee? It's like PH tipping on safari.....I'm happy to give him a tip, but I'm a middle class redneck from Idaho. I saved for years to get here. How much is enough? Who started this coffee girl tipping thing? Doesn't Katy @ Taco Bell need a tip too?

At Starbucks in places like Sequim I usually ask for a "Black coffee or whatever you have that is closest." Never had any problem.
Some 20 years ago in Winnipeg I asked for a tall skinny double shot latte and the fellow behind the counter paused a beat and said, "You're from Seattle." True at the time.

They have Starbucks inside the Kroger supermarkets now. Yikes.
I think I've been in Starbucks twice. Y'all had similar experiences. I asked for a plain cup of house blend, and they thought I'd crawled out from under a rock. See, that's the whole point. It's a big thing to go to a place that treats you like dirt unless you know the ordering jargon and spend waaay to much for a fairly common commodity.
Around our neck of the wood, Speedway is all over the place and you can get a fairly decent cup of carryout Joe for $1. Angus goes there on the way to work. Me? I make my own and put it in a travel cup. I prefer coffee that has a noticeable viscousity to it-- somewhere between pancake syrup and 10W-40. Most folks take my coffee and dilute it 2-1 with water before consumption.
