Sure glad I've got my 28 ga barrel already for my model 220, I knew they were rare but not this rare. I guess RAM was right, if it says Savage..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140084126437&rd=1&rd=1 Any of you other guys starting to get into the 219/220 thing yet? Maybe I should sell my 220 28 ga barrel and buy a 99 410 barrel with the money!

Hours away, I try to stay as far away from Southern Ontario as possible, to many liberals down that way.
Closest park to me is Lake Superior Provincial.

Joe, Just wondering it was nice there but has changed quite a bit over the last 25 years or so. My dad canoed there with the scouts when at train ran through the park. For a couple of bucks you could load up your canoe and hed to another lake. gotta run for my boy at work in the words of the govenator I'll be back

Hey MadDog, That M220 28ga bbl sold on eBay for $332.50. I had been tracking it for the past week. By late afternoon it was up to $112.50. Kinda steep but I did come back to the auction just before it closed (1909EST) and was astonished to see that it had been bid up to that price. I was thinking about going to about $130 for it.
I bought a M220 20ga back in 1957 from Sears. Over the years I have fleshed out a set that now includes in addition to the original 20ga bbl, 12ga and 16ga bbls fitted to the gun and M219 bbls in .22Hornet, .22K-Hornet and .30-30. I thought it would be great to have the 28ga bbl. Guess I got an education tonight.

I've got the 30-30, 22 Hornet, 16 ga and 28 ga to my set (so far).
Ran into a 25-20 219 last year and the guy wanted to sell but never got back to me.
