Anything unique about modifying a McMillian? I picked up an older featherweight and it needs to be bedded and a new pad installed. I have a one piece floor plate and it's inletted for a two piece, so need to do a little mod here. Also may need to adjust the length of pull adding a new pad. May need to open the barrel channel some. I've done some Bansners and wood stocks. Anything to be aware of or consider working on a McMillian. I believe it's the standard fill if it makes a difference. May want to repaint it and any suggestions here welcome too. Thanks.
