I just got a kahr with a 2.5 inch barrel. I’ve heard good things about the 90 grain xtp. Can someone run quick load for me? Wondering what powders should work for me.

Not intending to be a smart aleck, but why not consult a manual?

hmm...I have done so however the manuals don't cover every single powder. They only cover a few.

hmm...I have done so however the manuals don't cover every single powder. They only cover a few. Have Hornady, Hodgdon, Sierra, Speer and Nosler manuals, and they cover quite a few. And what they don’t I can find online by visiting the manufacturers site, like Accurate and Alliant and Hogdons. Also understand that those little load books USA cover them all for about 7 or 8 bucks. The 90 XTP works well out of a PPK .

4.5 gr of Unique works for me with 90 gr in 380 3 grains Red Dot or Bullseye. 4.5 grains AA#5 or Unique. Been shooting the red dot more than the other 3 since I bought 16 lbs of it years back at a gun club auction. 40 bucks for 2 unopened 8 pounders was a good deal.
