I went to see this movie this afternoon, and I'm glad I did. I'd highly recommend it. It concerns the first bunch of Special Forces troops to go into Afghanistan after 9/ll. It's worth seeing, even at full price. It was twice the movie I thought it would be, and I had high expectations. I don't want to be a spoiler, so that's all I'm going to say about it. It wasn't preachy, just a good film based on factual happenings.
Helluva film. Lots of action, too.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.

i'm going to see it, one of my buddy's was special forces there, then in iraq with the guys guiding in the missiles.

Just saw it a few hours ago with my wife and a friend. We all liked it,,a lot!

I went with a couple of buddies tonight to see it, and it's as good a movie as I've seen in a long time. I'll be going again in the next week.

Great movie 😎
OF COURSE quite a few movie critics panned it, they hate movies about tough, dedicated men in the service of our country.
Watching it I started thinking dang! Afghanistan is a beautiful place.
Turns out the whole movie was shot in New Mexico, but if Afghanistan looks like that then dang Afghanistan is a beautiful place.
Since it was shot here in the US, I’ll bet all them Mujadeen extras have some funny stories, I’m wondering how many times they got “killed” and how many played the good guys in some scenes, bad guys in the other.

Excellent movie, I thought the combat scenes were more realistic than most recent flics of this type.

Great movie - at the end look at the group shot of the original team - all White guys, average looking, you wouldn't peg them as "snake eaters".

The movie is a decent action flick, but it doesn't closely follow the actual events. Read the book. I suggest watching the movie first, because you will most likely be disappointed if you have already read the book. There was also a team in the South working with the local population.
