I was looking at Hornady’s 200 grain .308 bullets on Midway, reviews were good. Any of you shooting from your 300 Win, I’d like to get your opinions.

Tested it and it was real accurate out to 300 yds was the limit of my tests...

stiff load of H 1000....flat shooting for sure...

ave also tested the 212 grain, 208, 220 and 225 grain ELD bullets, whether X or M versions..
hunting or match...

300 Win, and H 1000 and with RL 26....

We have had good luck with the 200gr ELDX in a few 300WM. All loaded with H4831 seated to mag length.
Do very well on deer and hogs.
Ive shot mine Savage 300WM out to 1200 yards with them and they grouped just as good as the 210gr bergers.
My buddys older R700 300WM ended up shooting best with the same powder charge as mine but seated out a little more.
He has taken all his whitetails for the past 2 years with them and never lost one even out to 550 yards.

What's your charge of H4831?
