Where? All I see on the tikka website are 20" threaded.

According to a couple videos I have watched on the T1x they are making a 16" and 20" barrels, but we are only getting the 20" for now.

Here is one of they videos

He's holding the 20.

Looks like we might have to wait to see the 16. My money will wait too.

A trio like that is what I plan on each of my two boys having by the time they graduate high school. Those makes/models would do as well, but being LH probably won't happen as those are made in LH currently. frown

I’m Already 2/3 way there. T3 In 223 and 06. Not much you can’t do with that combo.
Now if I sell the RAR 22 then the T1 will have room in the safe.

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

With Elk in the mix if I was starting over this is probably the exact route I would take... but I'm not and the safe is already bursting at the seams.

The top rifle in the photo looks to be a definite 16 incher or the euro/CM version thereof.

Tough to argue that lineup.

I don't currently own a 30-06 but I probably should, because I just should.

My present trio:
270
270wsm
30-06

When I need more, I prefer heavier rifles and turn to 300wby and 340wby (Mark V) or 7mmSTW ( Sako 85).

Guys, I'm NOT pushing a point. I'm an AVID 270 W, 30-06 & 7 mm RM fan & user.

IF I had the T 1X 22 & T 3 223-- Pds--Wt; it seems to me the
7mm R M would be quite the Trifecta com'ple'
