My mom use to Tie Quilt
She used 1 X 2s C clamped at the corners tacked the flannel with thumb tacks and rolled the 2 Xs as she worked he way in. My dad notched some 2 X 4s for the legs.
This worked for a bout 40 years until they bought a fancy fangled rack to save space.
My sister uses it now
The 1 X 2s and 2 X 4 are a lot less that $15000 to get your self started.

My wife will do customs if someone is willing to pay. The quilt on our bed was made 15 years ago and used daily since. Fabric for it then was $300 and over 100 hours of labor, so they can get expensive. It is just now getting ready to be replaced. The quality of the fabric has made it last this long. She entered it in the County Quilt Show the year she made it and it took 3rd place out of about 300 quilts. She had also taken another 3rd place and a 1st place at the same shows over the years.

My wife quilts some. She just has a regular sewing machine so has to freehand it. She's currently working on one for one of our daughters.

My grandmother used to tie quilt with the same kind of frame. Grandpa had it hung from the ceiling. The $15,000 is what I'm behind in guns compared to what we have spent on her hobby. We bought her long arm used. She was wanting a new one about a year ago so I told her to price them. The new version of what she has is about $30,000. It ain't happening!

Any one's wife sell them?
It seems like they fetch pretty good money.
Seems like a good way to make a buck. Not sell them, but she will donate them to shelters and benefits and such.
I am MAGA.
