I need a follower for a Model 70 Classic 375 H&H. Does anyone know if the current FN M70 followers will work with the Classic models? I've looked high and low for both the parts and information. I figured I'd try here before I call Winchester.

Thanks

Do you need the follower and spring or just the follower.

Some on here will sell you the follower and forget to mention it
does not incluld a spring also. Believe me, I know.

The current FN's are all classics. So you will need to provide more information on who made it. I'm sure a new follower would work either way.

Don't recall you asked for the spring, I assumed you had one but not the follower. Did you get the bottom metal?

Thank you for the replies and my apologies for the delay. I have a spring and follower from a 338 length Mag Box. Is there functional difference between the standard LA spring and the 375 spring? It is a New Haven Gun. It seems the shorter follower might cause feeding problems. I'd rather have all my ducks in a row and get the correct follower/spring. I'm covered on bottom metal.

Thanks

In the mid-late 90s, when I was younger and, shall we say, less wise, I bought a brand new 338 WM M70 and had it converted to 340 Wby before I ever shot it. Conversion didn’t work so well and eventually, I converted it back. A couple of the main parts that changed were the magazine box and follower. I still have them left over after I converted back and would be happy to trade with you. I don’t know if the spring you require is different than that on a 338 - I did not change the spring. I suspect it may be different. Numerich or Midwest Gun Works May have the spring if you need it.

If you are interested, send me a pm. We should probably e-mail some pictures so we both understand what the other has and to avoid any disappointment.
