1: What's wrong with our society where people will sit there and video and no one offers to help?
2: Instead of recording, why not call the police?
3. The skinny kid; the "I got your back" Yeah look how he had his friend's back.
4. The big guy would not have walked out of there -either ambulance or hearse - the old guy should have killed him, pick up what ever you can and beat the life out of him - then the skinny guy,

When the guy follows him into the store why didn't someone call the police and at that point, there's LOTS of weapons handy and you're fighting for your life so kill the SOB.

And these zombies line up and eat from the media’s trough

The problem these days is some pussy district attorney will say Old Guy had plenty of opportunities to disengage, but instead he continued inflicting damage on poor old Dindu Nuffin. Therefore Old Guy gets over charged with something like attempted murder, the legal system beats him down to the point that copping a plea to aggravated assault actually sounds like a viable option, then he goes to jail.

Kicking someone in the head who is laying down on the ground is an easy way to get an attempted murder or murder charge.

Depends on whether or not the person who is down was the aggressor to begin with. In self-defense, making sure that someone, who has already proved he's a persistent aggressor, isn't able to get up again in the short term, is just a continuation of the self-defense to which the defender was privileged to engage in from the start of the attack. This is particularly true when there's a disparity situation, such as here, where there were two attackers, one of whom was still on his feet. This heightens the importance of eliminating the potential of the downed person to get up again in the short term so that he can no longer join his accomplice in posing a continued threat. As long as any part of the attacking duo is up and posing a continued threat, in other words, defensive action against either remains justified.

The big guy didn't get any more brain damaged than he appeared to already be.

A couple good ankle stomps accomplish the goal without the threat of or perception of deadly force.

It was apparent from the git go that the black guy was scared to death of getting hit. A bulldog charge would have ended it a lot quicker.

Yes, yes it is. But its ridiculous. I"d probably be charged with something too. Attacking a man like that both the punks needed a dirt nap and its a damn shame its not legal. This country is way to soft.

I would have like to see a finishing blow through that t-shirt as he pulled it back over.

That would have been icing on the cake. I thought of that when I saw him pull that shirt over his head.

All of this.

There were two of them, and it's imperative to put one away so he doesn't get back up and able to defend yourself against the second one.
