I bought one of these a few years back and it has set in the safe pretty much since. Just started some load development tried 120 trax with h4350 didn't really see anything very promising even tried different seating depths. Any of you got one of these hunter models and got a tried and tested load to recommend? I got some 120 Nosler BT on hand but can pick up any other brands.

Mine is a superlight, rather than the hunter, but I shoot 47 grains of R19 behind a Hornady 129 grain Interlock. It has been rough on the Whitetails around here.

I also have a superlite stainless fluted in 260 rem but unfortunately have only shot factory ammo in it. it will shoot federal premium 120 grain bt 3 shots @ 100yds into .5" and same distance and number of shots will put 130 grain accubonds slightly bigger but I mighta pulled one. its my favorite rifle at the moment. crimsontide, can't believe I said that"HOTTY TODDY",i so wish hornady would factory load the 129 interlock in the 260 rem.

I have a Tikka ss T3x .260 Hunter. The best accuracy trends that I am experiencing with my rifle go like this: 120 gr bullets-Varget, 130 gr bullets-H 4350 and 140 gr bullets H 4831 SC. It is early on in my process to find the ultimate sweet-spot for my rifle, but these powders are looking good in these corresponding bullet weight ranges. CP.

Re17 has been the ticket with 143s in a couple Tikka .260s

My wife’s Tikka .260 shoots 123s, 130s, and 139s very well with 4350.

I have a T3 Hunter in 260. Was bored so decided to go with necked down 308 LC brass, necks turned (got a bunch from a member here I believe about 8 months ago), 38gr. IMR 4451, and 140gr SST. Well under MOA, works wonders on whitetails up in the northeast.

I too, wish that Hornady would load the 129 grain Interlock in the 260. By the way, this past season I substituted the 129 SST and shot a couple whitetails with them. They worked perfectly fine as well, no blow up, or ghastly wounds.

that's good to know bud. I always figured the sst was a lil more frangible than the wonderful interlock especially IF you encounter a shoulder bone and need an exit.

I shoot this with SSTs in my 260s. All shoot sub 1”. Even pencil barreled M7s.

125 Nosler partition and H4831 gets me consistent sub .5 moa. I grab my T3 Hunter in 260Rem pretty often. Everything from whitetails to elk.

Well I loaded up some 120 nosler BT with 43.5 and loaded up 44.3 the 43.5 chrono was 2749,2749,2721 the 44.3 was 2783,2783,2789 the 43.5 had 2 touching and another round to the left about 1 1/2 from those could have been a flyer it was the first shot of the day next two were shots touching the next load was terrible like 2 1/2 inches. I don't feel like it was me really cause I shot my creedmoor and shot a five shot group at 3/4 inch. Loads were 10 thou off I did notice they did not fit in the mag so I could try seating them deeper. May just try some hornady in it. Any advice?
