It is getting old. I have a ticket for the Poles 'n' Holes fishing tournament on Saturday in DL and the high of 10* doesn't appeal to me much. It's better than 10 below but you can about guarantee the wind will be blowing Mach 2

ok, i guess i agree. -24 again this morning. I believe there is a thermostat up on minnesota hill on the border north of my place between MN and Canadia. I guess I'll have to run up there and make an adjustment, someone obviously turned it down way too low.

The longer this drags on, the more I think about moving south. I just don't know if I could do it though, as we are well settled here. Kentucky seems appealing just from the standpoint of having less severe winters. Our winters seem to get more severe every year, but our summers are glorious here, and I can be on a lake in any direction from here in less that 20 minutes.

The income tax situation is attractive in TN, SC, and FL. The winters are even more attractive.
But even heading west will solve some taxation issues. We think SD is a wonderful place and very well may end up there. When the bigger kids graduate in 5 years we will look more closely. Heading west in Oct and will probably look more in-depth then.
