OK... I am looking at a 1st-year production 1894 in 38-55... double set trigger, all original. IT has not been reblued but has probably 80% blueing intact with nice patina. Wood is very nice, Not redone, very tight wood to metal fit... Not fancy wood but exactly what you would expect. never been sanded, never been redone... The barrel does have some rust inside... can still see rifling, etc... I forgot to measure the barrel but it seemed much longer than the standard 26.. Holding the light in the action, it was all I could do to strain to look down the barrel
Can probably get it for around 2400 or so... What do you all think of the price?
Thanks
