I wish they had specs on those rings and more options heightwise

Not the nicest looking rings ever made but the 2 piece DNZ rings/bases are darn stout! They look like a beefed up Talley Lwt and are a bit lower I think than the Talley lows. I have a set of them on both my Superlites with 40MM scopes.

A little late, but I like the Warne rings on the Tikka.

If you don't use Warne all the rest are about the same except Talley and I personally dont think the Tallys attach as strong as a ring that tightens on the dovetail.

I have tried Warne, Talley,DNZ on T3's and on the last 2 Sako Optilocks. I can't imagine not using optilocks unless it is a small compact scope I will mount where I would then use Talleys.

I know you are not looking now but this is for ?someone else? who might be interested.
I've used the Tikka T 3 factory rings SINCE 2003 ->->- NO problems.

1 more vote for Talley. If you don't think they are strong enough try mounting them by drilling them out and using larger mounting screws!
I have a 7mag Superlight and these rings achieve exactly what I wanted as long as my horse don't tip over.

I prefer clamping straight to the dovetail when possible. I like the Warne's, and those Sportsmatch look great too.

I'm NOT sure how many people know this about the Tikka rings.
There is a CROSS bolt in the bottom of their bases... they do clamp to the dove tail. AND there's a notch for the bolt to fit.
This is the best pic I have showing that.

Yes they is aluminum. I can't speak for long term use as I just put my T3x together with these and 3-9 super shicken but they locked up tight on the dovetail and have a pin in the front ring to mate the receiver. It puts the front ring a little close to the turrets being my only complaint. I might go rail and ARC super low eventually for better ring spacing. Hopefully I'll see how it shoots this weekend.
