Can you take apart the detachable magazine for a Remington 700? The actual magazine with the two tabs you depress on the sides. I don’t see any obvious ways and Google hasn’t been of any help.

Push the floor plate thingy down and to one side to get at the spring -- watch you don't get a finger stuck!

Thanks, it worked, got the follower and spring out. Looks like the bottom plate is spot welded to the body and can’t be removed.
