Proud to say I have seen Page and Plant perform that song live.
If y'all haven't heard Greta Van Fleet yet, you need to check them out, might be the 2nd coming of Zeppelin. Highway Tune and Safari Song are worth checking out.
One of my old M/C racing buds has a PHD in music.Played backup guitar for a bunch of big timer's.When my boys were little and George was hanging here recouping,he'd always play acoustic Zeppelin as bedtime music for them.Down right spooky sound quality in our big ole house. That was 20 years ago and they all still remember it like it was yesterday.
Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other the person to die ......
"When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me."
If you like Zepplin, check out the boys from my home town that have went from local band to a band playing around the world in less than a year. They are call Greta Van Fleet. Not my type of music but I know the families and the drummers parents are friends with my wife and I.
I knew they were big when a guy from the west coast was in our plant and I had a fleece with our town on it. He asked if I knew the band, how crazy is that?
I guess the $20 I spent for the Band signed T-shirt to help get traveling money might be worth something after all.
I just checked out Greta Van Fleet on Youtube (Highway Song and Safari Song). Man, that is refreshing to see some kids with actual talent. That lead singer has some pipes and they do sound a lot like Led Zeppelin.

Yeah, they remind me of the black crowes and Chris Robinson too....
Laura the drummer's( Danny) mom said they are going to Elton John's fund raiser where the boys will perform for a hour. Elton will also join them this weekend. A very fast rise for our small town boys in less than a year.

They do stairway to heaven pretty darn good to. In the beginning the lead singer was labeled a" Robert Plant like voice"
Kind of funny when I would sit and listen to them I thought, hmmmm they are okay and its kind of cool but, since its not country I just sat and drank the beer.
They are really nice boys, hope the business does not corrupt them. Everything they do they share with family.
I recall back in '75 or so, I had an 8 track of Physical Graffiti that lived in the 8 track player of my '69 Camero.
I was 18 with a very warm 16 year old girl friend.
She'd holler when I humped her to the rhythm of "Trampled Under Foot". I moved to the big city 250 miles away and left her behind,...mistake?,...maybe.
A more mature man would have known to appreciate a woman who hollers while being hammered to the beat of "Trampled Under Foot".
