It's too radical to pass. If it passes, it will get tossed out by the courts. If it is upheld and enforced, I will sell my farm, business and leave the state.
It is set up to fail. The lefties can say "hey we tried" and the righties can claim victory.

The link did not come through but if these are the ones I think they are, it is old news. They came to a subcommittee vote last week and were tabled due a lack of votes. These bills were not expected to go anywhere and they didn't. As long as the out state voters remain pro gun, even the Democrats these voters tend to put in office will be supportive of gun rights. After all, it was out state Democrat legislators that pushed the carry permit laws through. The rest of their ideas though...

Ironically, the creator of the bill was on the news stating she needed more security because of threats. What are the odds the security wasn't going to be armed with baseball bats?

White Bear has it right. These bills were nothing more than attempts by the liberal left to say they tried. Virtually no chance of getting hearings or scheduled this year according to leadership of both Senate and House. Watch out for future years though. Join MNGOC to stay abreast of the issues.
