Big money, just watching the Beverly Hillbillies, "Now all at once, Jed's a millionaire".
Maybe some have more wealth than Jed now, for the rest of us, would you go all frivolous, and buy store bought soap?
Anything else, thoughts?

yes, it would. It wouldn't change my character, but it would sure change my life.
First, I would not longer work in the profession I have now. Second, I would spend a lot of my time doing mission projects around the world. Third, I would spend a lot of my time traveling/hunting/fishing around the world. Fourth, I would own land to raise animals and to hunt/fish on.
But, I would not buy, buy, buy, and squander the money.

I'd party like it's 1999 and probably end up dead in a gutter within a year.

No much. I'd probably get a new pickup, try to set up a trust for my son, pay off my sisters house. Probably stop buying my groceries at Wal_Mart. That's about it.

Yes it would. I'd give my kids money to buy a home, give to some special charities and then I'd look for 500 acres to have my own private hunting place and then a place on the Gulf for a fishing shack.
After that I'd sit back and smile and wait for hunting season and good weather for fishing.

Oh, I see now it was big money.
I'd spring for indoor plumbing.

I guess it depends on how much money. Could I retire now? How would I set examples of work ethic for my son if I did retire? If you just mean 7 digit status it probably wouldn’t change much of anything other than maybe a zip code at this stage in my life. I know I’ll be a millionaire someday, but that won’t mean much by then. Gonna need a few million just to retire anyway. Now, my son may inherit some money at a young enough age that it affects him, depending on how things play out. I’d like to be able to set an example for him so that it has a positive effect.

I would have a Ranch somewhere, raise big Whitetail deer. I would never touch a plumbing tool again.

Jed's money was a hundred million 1962,or so dollars, give, or take. That's a lot. Them dollars were all silver ones too. Even the paper...you could still get Silver Certificates. It wouldn't change me, but it would change how I live. Might even get me one of them talkin' machines like the children all use.

I wish I could say I wouldn't change, but that's just not the case. We'd be out of this house, and living on some land up north where I could just walk out the door and go hunting or fishing. I'd set both of my kids up, donate to the church and some other charities I'd really like to help. I've got a whole list of folks that have helped me, and it would be an honor to be able to pay it all back, and pay it forward too. I don't know that I'd buy many new toys-I'm pretty happy with what I have. Maybe an ATV but that's about it.

This reminds me of a joke I once heard. Two young ladies were walking down 5th ave in NY, they started playing the what if game. "what if you won a million dollars, what would be the first thing you would do?"
The other says, "I would buy that diamond necklace, there in the store window!" So, for fun, they went in and asked the salesman how much the necklace cost.
"You are in luck, girls! It is on sale today for $1,250,000.00!"
