Anyone watch the 8 episode series on Netflix about the city of Flint?

I spent the weekend finishing up up the series. My take away from it all, the black people, including the cops are very racist. They want money from white people to fix the problem but they don't want white people coming there to help. Black people should be in charge because they are more sympathetic to the ills of the black folks.

Each one of them are convinced its a conspiracy to lock up black people by white people. They will always vote for a democrat no matter who runs. This was taped during the last presidential election. Shows how divided we are as a country. This is in my backyard, I live 20 miles from that crime zone. What never gets mentioned is the help the Governor and white folks have given the crap hole. The gov has been steadily putting more state troopers in these liberal cess pools who can't manage a budget if there life depended on it.

One guy they show is Mays, guy was arrested going the wrong way on I-75 and drunk. He walked with a slap on the wrist. They still keep electing him. Only way these places will get fixed is when we have black leaders who admits. There is a problem not taking responsibility and to stop blaming race as a issue.

Yes the police department has 98 officers when they had 300. As you know its always the police departments fault.........

With the bias of the characters you describe, I'll bet it wasn't mentioned that a pipe manufacturer offered to supply for free or at a large discount, the pipe needed to replace the unsafe water mains. Read about it in a plumbing trade magazine.
