I use my trecking poles. I already have them, and doubling the straps makes for a nice saddle to nestle the gun into.

I make them out of 5/8 dowel rods with a 8-32 locking machine screw at the “X”. Counter sink a nail in the feet so they won’t slide on frozen ground and put a short section of fiberglass driveway marker rod in the top end. Cover the glass rods with silastic tubing to protect the finish of the stock. 32 inches long overall and you’re all set. I’ve made many sets of them like that and they are very functional and don’t cost but a few bucks.

I got a primos trigger stick. But mine must be made for some sawed-off dorf. And I'm only 6ft, I'd have lean way over to make it work.
It's great for sitting on a stool, or butt on the ground. Also works good in a stand.

They must make a longer version. I'm 6'05" and they work for me.

A damn fine bunch of suggestions! Thank you! I'm going to make a couple of sets and see what I like better, sitting or standing, in the meantime, I've got stuff to look at.

I use the Primos Trigger Stick, works great. I use it for coyote hunting, and I'm always sitting on the ground, so they're perfect for me. I'm 6-0 and don't have to bend over.

I’ve lost about three store bought ones without ever using them. Mule deer hunting I’m in my hunting Jeep and don’t need them, or if I’m walking I’ll find a dead sotol stalk before I’ve taken many steps.
If a man can’t hit a paper plate at a hundred yards offhand, or 150 yards sitting, he needs to shoot more, not buy something. With that said, anything that gives a hunter more confidence is certainly a good thing.

I gave away my Bogpod after using the Gen2 Primos tall tripod trigger sticks.
I now own both the tall bipod and tall tripod Gen2 Primos trigger sticks

Primo’s Polecat Steady Stix Sitting Bipod
I have killed many animals off these stix. My original pair are Stoney Point which Hornady bought out. The Primo’s are the same.
By the way, in case you missed it, Jeremiah was a bullfrog.
