Sounds like a woodstove would have saved you some money and given you a place to burn all that debris you had around your place when you bought it. Nothing like wood heat anyhow. Gives a guy somethin to do in the off season too.

No call out thread. It's an information thread. I've repeatedly asked Birdwatcher to link the thread that he keeps referencing regarding my alleged support for a guy named Richard Spencer.
I didn't recall it, so I used Google custom search for this site to see if I could find it.
Other than the threads where Birdwatcher referenced his name, this is all I could find.

Understand that your new home/cabin had insulated windows at the time of purchase. No flame intended, Sir, but if you need a tank of propane already you have deeper problems to research before next winter rolls in.

According to this my propane use is fairly typical.
Depends on a lot of things...furnace efficiency, window quality, insulation, size of house, what temp it's set at, blah blah blah.
I'd at least have your furnace tested to see how efficient it is. To me, your bill sounds slightly high for Kentucky but not outrageous. I've never lived there though.

Unless he can find something that I can't locate I'll be forced to consider him:
