I couldn't get the USGA topo website to work so I called to order a specific 7.5 minute topo for turkey hunting for $8. It was delivered rolled, in one of the best reinforced triangular cartons I've ever seen - by FedEx in 2 days for free! The lady I talked with must have not known I was white.

Golfers selling topo maps now? Every time I go to hit the S on my Mac I wind up hitting the A. When I go to hit the A I usually turn the damn caps lock on.

Old school NAD27 1/50,000 and if ya can find the1/25,000 are really detailed contour wise.
Add 300 m on north coordinates to bring your GPS unit up to its
WGS 84 setting or just use your GPS in NAD27 setting.
Better yet throw that devils instrument GPS away if ya have one and dead reckon by known pace count and compass per 100yds in combo with terrain association.

The newer PDF maps we can download now are absolutely super. Better than ever given that one can hide the topmost map layer and find the aerial photo beneath. Grateful for and have been using their website for years. A valuable resource indeed.

I been confused a few times. I will admit that. But never lost!!!!!!!! Bwahahahaaa!!!! Yes I know that one adventure in area 48 sucked that morning. Hahahaaa!!!! Fugging sasquatch wouldn't had gone thru that chyt.... But we did

Enlarge em for areas.
Print em out
Laminate em.
Usgs site is very useful.

Take your topo To Mailboxs, etc for enlargement works also. Color and all
