Just bought a 23A from a man who had bought it from my family 20 years ago after my Dad passed away. It had been Dad's plinking gun for many years. One that had gotten away when it shouldn't have, can now stop kicking myself.
This man also had a 23B and 23C, both about 6 or 7 out of 10 but reasonable bores, but only one bolt and one magazine. He has used bolt/mag in either for years.Took them home too as price was right. $125 for the pair with a box of 50 32-20 Winchester and a second magazine that must fit a later bolt action of some type.
Now to buy back Dad's 1899 250-3000 introductory model which I have recently located. Maybe as we get older we get more sentimental.

Good for you. I just gave back a 550-1 Remington to a WWII vet that was his years ago made a friend Sat. and a happy man.
