We can blame Carter for much of our problems in the middle east today. He abandoned support for the Shah months before the hostage situation, which brought the mullahs back and set Iran and the entire region back hundreds of years.

Jimmy Carter is the finest of men; religious, moral, intelligent, and kind. I've read most of his books. His "Outdoor Journal" is a nice read, as is his "White House Diary". Highly recommended. Maybe somebody could read them to Trump. Carter is correct about Bolton, it's a huge mistake. Jimmy Carter is the 3rd worst president in modern history. He is responsible for the Iranian Mullahs taking power in Iran and for them keeping our hostages for over a year. He stated that the reason he didn't declare war on Iran after they took the hostages is that he was more concerned with Iranian civilian casualties than defending our country from evil.

Personally I think Jimmy is as about as honest a potus as we've ever had.
Whoever said that Reagan made a deal for the hostages is full of it. They released those hostages just minutes after he took office not because of any deal, but instead just to stick it to Carter. You're a moron.

I will always be thankful for Jimmy Carter. He showed me what liberals do to this country and their ability to dishearten the citizens. I was only 12, but still remember Reagan lifting us from that abyss.

You're a moron. Why, because I said Jimmy was/is honest or because I said Reagan had nothing to do with the release of the hostages? Both are true. You can call Jimmy inept, terrible, the worst,..and maybe he was, but I believe he was honest. Reagan didn't make a deal. That's revisionist lore for dullards, there isn't a shred of truth to it.

. McMaster got caught leaking. Dumb ass. fact? LeakLeakersNo one has come right out publicly and stated that McMaster was doing the leaking. He was asked to stop it, that didn't happen, no one else has been fired or arrested as persons of the executive branch that is leaking, but .................McMaster was let go amid leaking issues. It will come out later that he was involved. Bolton was hired to plug the leaks. I am NOT a McMaster fan, but I'll believe it when I see it..

Well, Stop the World I Want to Get Off.
I find myself agreeing with Jimmy Carter and Paddler. Well, for those two, even a blind hog roots up a real acorn now and then.
No I detest Botlon and conservatives of his ilk, like Draft Dodger Cheney, who foisted the Goddam Iraq War off on our country. All those young men dead, or their legs blown off, for nothing. To make the world a worse place. See, Saddam was bad, a real tyrant and murderer. That means, he fit right in there in the Middle East. He was an avowed enemy of Iran, our real enemy in the region. Saddam killed hundreds of thousands of Iran soldiers in wars, and he did not play with Islamic radicals, any Al Quaeda showed up in Iraq and they quickly got a 9mm in the back of the head. They did not have a right to remain silent, they did not have a right to an attorney. They got shot. Of course the Ninny George Bush went along with the war but I hardly hold it against him, he is a dummy who just did what Cheney told him to do.
None of these goofballs will apologize and I have heard each of them, in the past year, saying that war was a great idea. What a gang of fools.
