I have posted this before but I got new rings on her and the Leupold remounted up (
still looking for a 6x36 for it, but that will now be a summer project). My son is super excited as he turns 10 in May and the rifle will attempt to draw its first blood...

Timney 510 at #2 pounds
B&C Alaskan Stock, cut to 13" LOP, Pachmayer pad
Talley Ultra Lows
Leupold VX3I - 3.5-10X40 cds
Rifle is cerakoted graphite black - Has 6.5 creedmoor as well as his name engraved in the barrel.
Finished rifle weighs 6 pounds 14 oz.
When he gets older, we will put a longer LOP B&C or McMillan on it and he should have a rifle to last him quite a few years.... I have a super accurate 120 Barnes load for it, but also have some 125 partitions I want to play with as well. The rifle has plenty of magazine and throat if we want to play with 140-143LR bullets down the road.... Right now he can hit a 10" gong out to 400 pretty regularly, but from 300 and in, I would have no problem letting him take a shot at an animal with a good rest. Super excited for him this year!
