Around 25 years ago a neighbor lady was diagnosed with breast cancer. With treatments available at that time hers shortly advanced to stage 3 and was advised that it best for her and family to prepare for the inevitable. She still beat it anyway and even went back to work before long.
Her and husband finished raising their two sons to adulthood, and now get to dote on their little grand children. Regularly see them together outside enjoying life.
She said the only noticeable physical change was after loosing her hair from chemo treatments it all grew back poker straight instead of curly as it had been since birth.

Thank you all so very much for the outpouring of prayers and well wishes. I only know some of you through conversations I've had with my husband, the Shaman. He thinks highly of you all, and we have both been moved by your compassion. God is the Great Healer, the Great Physician, and I believe in the power of prayer--He is the source of all healing and all things good. With His help, I will be well. It may not be an easy road for our family, but I have absolute faith that God has this, and everything else, in His hands. Thanks again for your continued prayers.

KYHillChick, my prayers will go without ceasing for your recovery. this hits very close to home. if you have any doubts as to your treatment and are at all able to may i suggest MD Andersen in texas. they saved a couple of my loved ones.

Well this is my first post on this form,and after the 16 months my wife and I just went through all I can say is go in to win it.Prayers will be sent each day for yall and all the staff that will be involved with your care.Tip for your husband,get a note book and start keeping notes cause if he is like me I could drive from the Drs office home and could not remember all that was said.Women with guns can whip cancer any day.
