My son gave me one of these a while back, and man, is it a nice gun to shoot! This one's well worn, but cycles just fine, and is accurate as these tired old eyes can shoot it. Really a good gun. Very satisfied with it. Anybody else running one of these? I think he paid something like $230.00 for it.

I had one back in the 1980's. Shot it a LOT, and had a lot of fun with it, too. That's probably about what I paid for mine at that time. Mine was marked Kassner PJK-9HP.

i use to kind of turn my nose up at them, and still think a belgium made hi power is a better gun, but having said that i have fooled with some fegs. I think it kind of makes a difference when they were made and who for, but i think they shoot fine enough. Action work and stuff like that can improve the trigger. I don't think the israeli's are fools in these things and i believe they bought a bunch of them.

RoninPnx,
My favorite of the FEG pistols is the ex-IDI Air Force model, that their pilots once carried. = Carried daily but shot seldom.. Look/shoots as well as any other P-35; several members of our club bought them the last go-round. (I have a pair of them "on back order" with an Internet vendor, that are supposed to arrive in May or June.)
IF they don't look any better externally than most of them do, they will be manganese "parkerized".

My BHP clone is a Charles Daly HP. Which I believe I was assembled from FEG parts. I like it a lot.

idahoguy101,
Evidently at least SOME of the parts in the Charles Daly "Hi-Power" were sourced out of Japan & possibly from HOWA.
