I didn’t think much of a 6X until trying it. There is a beauty in functional simplicity.
Deer at 20-30 yds are easy.

I guess these high-dollar scopes are great, if you have lots of disposable income. I will stay with the Super Chickens for my needs.
You did not "seen" anything, you "saw" it. A "creek" has water in it, a "crick" is what you get in your neck. Liberals with guns are nothing but hypocrites.

Don't doubt it'd be an awesome scope. Wouldn't mind the Mil Dot reticle. But at 6.5 times the price of an SWFA 6X, I suppose that I too will stick with my Super Chicken (though my next one will likely be a variable Super Chicken). I will say, my favorite brand to look through and dream is S&B..........

The only whiners on this thread are the OP and others who feel the need to denigrate a product they're not interested in and will never buy.
Must be a slow day in a lot of podunks around the country.

Watch what you say about Podunk!
That is an interesting scope. I imagine if a guy wants the best 6x produced, that is it. It is considerably lighter than I would have guessed S&B would turn out.
How far out would the elevation adjustment take you, say on a 308, 165g?

Must be a slow day in a lot of podunks around the country. +1 spot on . Doug makes an effort to have a group buy on a product and all he gets is this BS. Totally unwarranted, if it is too expensive or not what you want why insult?

I am on the lookout for a used S&B 6x42 and it does not have to be the PMII .

$2,000 - a deal???
Different income, I guess.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

Different income, I guess. Has nothing to do with income. It is a deal for a brand new PMII, special order scope.

A $2,000 boat anchor. No thanks, find me a m8 6x42. m8 6x42 is going to be ~12-13oz's? This one at 16.8....so 3-4 oz's more makes it a boat anchor? Interesting option for those of us who like a straight 6. And they will even work at less than 10yards. . However, one of the complaints against Leupold is they are too light, and this being the reason the internals are not robust enough for consistent repeatability. So, 3-4 ounces is enough to make a significant difference?

No doubt, but the urbanites are just straight-up knuckleheads.

I said I hope Doug sells a ton of them. No denegration of product just making fun of all the fixed 6x scope guys who complain no one makes a scope for them. Then they still complain about price, reticle etc.if they are that picky why is price such an issue?

Impossible. That only happened once, when I was four years old. I actually thought Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. Can you believe it?
