1. NIB Remington 541 T sporter in superb condition, it appears to be unfired. Wood is flawless
2. Ruger Precision Rimfire, not a classic I'm awareally but I believe that for thdirect price point it's a hell of a rifle . And to top it all off I picked up 3 brick (yes 1000rds) of UM22 FOR 135.00 TOTAL.
So I think it goes without says I'm a happy camper.
Now for three optics dilemma. ...Lol

Three brick would be 1500?  Hey, any day I buy a gun is a happy day - you did that times two. Congrats. I guess you need a scope or two next. Oh, yea I see your last sentence. If you enjoy the search for guns like the 541? You might also enjoy trolling for old Leupolds for a right price. I do. I would try and match the 541 with a time period scope. Assuming you plan to convert that from NIB to mint condition.

Heck yeah, I had a day close to that a couple weeks ago
Been eyeing the RPR well before it was showing up in stores. Finally got my hands on one and it had to come home. I was expecting more of a tupperware feel but it is nice and solid. Love being able to adjust the stock since my 6 and 9yo who will also be shooting it. Topped it off with a nikon monarch 4-12 AO I had laying around. Well, on the way home I stopped by another store and they had a lnib 77/22 blued/walnut. Price was too good to pass up so it came home also.
I did score 4 bricks of cci standard for less than 100 shipped from brownells a couple weeks ago.

No gun show, I logged about 400 miles on the old F250 running all over the state of Ga. And as for old Leupolds you hit the nail on the head. That 541 would be perect with a gloss M8 6x compact AO.

I'm going to try my damndest to put some rds throught it tomorrow. So I'll certainly give a full range report in th RPR, 541, and a TacSol 1022 i picked up awhile back that I really haven t been able to put through It's paces either. It's gonna be a good day for sure.

Wareagle: Great finds there - good for you!
My Remington 541-T is one of my all time favorite rimfire small game and Varmint Rifles.
It is exceptionally accurate (and lethal) with the Winchester Power-Point hollow-points I shoot in it.
My 541-T has a Weaver KT-15 (straight 15 power!) adjustable objective scope on it.
This scope has a surprisingly ample field of view and I have little trouble finding Ground Squirrels in its field of view.
I hope your 541-T shoots as well as mine.

The 541 is a rifle I really wish Remington had made in a LH configuration.

I received my Trekker replacement mags for the 541 today so now all I'm waiting on is my Talley rings/bases and I'm set to do some shooting. I'm so glad I found out about the Trekker mags I'm besides myself. He'll I've probably gotten rid of 5 541''s just because I couldn't get mags for them. Now I'm going to be in trouble.

I ran across my 541t Sporter and a Winchester 52 repro about 6 yrs ago. Similar situation, I was driving through Wyoming and I stopped at a little gun shop that I hadn't seen before. A local had them on consignment. 541 was wearing a 6.5 by 20 Leupold and Winchester had a 2x7 Leupold on it. the prices were so good that I bought them both! As I was finishing up the paperwork, the shop owner handed me five- 5 rd mags for the Remy and two extras for the Winchester. I was and am happy as a pig in slop with that purchase. As I was leaving, there were a couple guys sitting at the coffee table. One gentleman spoke and told me to enjoy the rifles as they were his, then he told me they liked Federal hollow points for the Remington and CCI standard velocity for the Winchester. He said he bought them to shoot Rimfire silhouette and tried it a couple times and never really got into it.
