Thinking about trying to find me one of these in a 26 or 28" camo jobber. Anybody out there shooting one of these, if so any hiccups??
Pros/Cons??

Are they still making silvers in a camo wrap? I imagine there are used ones out there but most silver owners tend to be very loyal to their guns. Combined with the 20 ga, it may be a difficult combination to find?

I like my Browning shotguns, but had bad luck with the Dura-touch Camo -turned sticky as hell, had to be removed. I have a 12 gauge Gold Stalker that I like (flat black). Just check the finish if the shotgun is older.

I dont own one but i hunt with guys that have the silvers, sx2, sx3, and the gold that doesnt have the speed feed system, all of which use the same exact opperating system. They are super reliable. They are way more reliable than the golds that have the speed feed system. You will like it. They have a very simple gas piston that is easy to clean and the guns are a simple design that is easy to break down. I have a gold with speed feed and when it gets really cold it likes to fail to feed the next round.

Ended up with a Bottomland camo SX3 20 gauge with 28" barrel. Yet to get it out and shoot it.
Have an NWTF Gold 3" gun in Dura Touch MOBU and love it. I must be lucky as this is my third or fourth gun w Dura Touch and have had no issues.
Only function issues I ever had w any of my Golds or SX2 was when I didn't get all of the oil out of the action. Never had anything buy 3" chambers either.
