Unfortunately, in NYC you have to "register your guns" and pay a fee. I worked in NYC for 25+ years, one of my bosses lived in Queens, was a hunter and he had to register annually. I think he had 4 or 5 rifles and 1 handgun. It appears if they catch you in possession of an unregistered firearm you could be in trouble. Looks like this guy had a couple of AR's, I'm not sure what the Safe Act says about AR's.
