His opposition is relieved when he agrees to just cut off their toe. He wants people to think he is a little crazy so they are intimidated by him.. I think he is willing to change his position on an issue when presented a reasonable argument or better position. He is a business man and politics is a whole new arena for him. But most of all he believes in a strong America and putting America first. I dont think you can put Trump in a context your liberal friends will understand. Liberals feel everyone should get a trophy for participating. Trump believes in playing to win. Second place is the same as losing.

That’s pretty much my assessment, but you said it better.

And then there’s our idiot sock puppet.

I've been away from the computer for a while, so this a bit late.

Thanks to everybody who saw fit to provide answers and explanations. I have a much better handle on things now. I should have been on the fire a few years ago when I was trying to explain to people at work why I thought Obama was useless. He had some real fans there, but I could never figure out why.

To anyone who had anything bad to say about our dear Prime Minister: you and I have a lot in common.

Question...what makes you think Trudeau doesn't know?

Because he is an art teacher, no worldly experience of any kind, and info is gathered by his political monkey's who's policies are reflected and ingrained by his Liberal political party.

So, you are saying that he is a lefty who has no idea how the world works, and he gets his advice from commies and muslims.

Are you SURE he doesn't know?

JSTUART;
Good morning to you - in Australia I see it's tomorrow yet again - I hope the day has been going to plan thus far for you and yours.

With respect, I'll differ with my fellow 'Fire Canuck from the north of our fair province and suggest - with the appropriate tightening of my tinfoil hat - that Mr. Dressup knows exactly what he's doing.

I suggest this because his father Pierre Elliot Trudeau was a ruthless globalist and socialist of the most profound sort and if he had any respect for the average Canadian it was extremely well hidden.

Then again, there's wags who suggest Monsieur Dressup's real father was none other than Fidel himself and if that's the case, well lets say the apple fell even closer to the trunk, you know?

Anyway I'd have to believe that nobody can be as utterly clueless as he appears, so I think that although he's no doubt an empty suit, there's more than meets the eye in his actions as he works towards his agenda.

Lastly, I'd have to say more than most other things in life I wish I was wrong about all that, but honestly I don't believe so. Again with deference to my fellow Canuck's opinions on the matter, I hope he's right on this one.

All the best to you and yours sir.

Dwayne
