Sorry to hear that. Ice packs can sometimes be your friend for that depending on the issue.

Thanks. Beer and ice pack at the moment.

Suppose in my crippled state I could have the kids bring a board inside, paint "designated wildlife refuge" on it

and stick that up in the yard, let the fugger go to hell all summer.

Maybe buy a goat and let it keep the weeds down, but then some gas station dude would be out screwing the goat.

Amazing the amount of room in the engine compartment in an old truck. I had a 67 R/T with the 440 always wanted to put the cross ram manifold and twin 4's on it. Sadly gas went from 39 cents/gal to over $1 and it had to go down the road.

On the original question............staying home, always have (or worked). Too many drunks or crazies on the road. Do my camping, etc the week before or week after much quieter. Same for 4/7.

tropical storm alberto on the way. it'll be wet, so it's inside. i remember ts alberto from '94. that sucker stalled out and we ended up lassoing caskets and floating them back to the cemetaries.

Packing to move some of our things to a little house we just got in Bayview ID. We're leaving next Tues to avoid holiday traffic.

Check their website. If they have someone y'all wanna see, let me know. I get free tickets because I shred the place.

I was born in Yorktown, Tx in 1958 but never have lived there as an adult. I always thought Nordheim Shooting Club / Dance Hall was an interesting structure. I'll bet it was a nice dance hall back then.

Lucky you. Sunday is supposed to be our only day with decent weather. Smack in the middle of the weekend, and I'll have to travel 70 miles to visit some particularly boring relatives.

My kids that adopted me grabbed a camp area at a lake a couple hours from here.

So... gonna grab the yak, cooler fishing rods and perhaps a cigar and spend the day with them.

Doing some shooting and get 22mag rifle zeroed to a round it likes hopefully out of the 4 types of ammo i have. Maybe some arrowhead hunting.
Pick up a box of the 22mag that it shoots accurately and go kill some tree rats and watch gravity in action. I enjoy gravity.
Might do some work on my 21 yr old green monster f 150... might not....

Not cutting grass, like all my neighbors have.....
I like the wild grass and flowering weed look.

Think about 4 dead soldiers from 03-04.

Headed to Idaho to do some fishing, shoot some rock chucks (not the Rockchuck) and forget about work for 3 days.

Enjoying good eats, good cigars, good whiskey, and in between, while sober, reloading ammo to kill prairie dogs.
