This is the third of the presently four book "Memory Man" series By Baldacci. In it Amos Decker, who doesn't forget much of anything (except social skills), is walking to his workplace at an FBI office in Washington, D.C. when he sees a man walking in front of him pull out a pistol and kill a woman walking in front of him, and then turn the pistol on himself as he is challenged by Decker and a guard and he then puts a bullet in his head. He dies a while later in the hospital. The man is a government contractor with access to a lot of secret info and it's found that he is under investigation by the DIA for selling secrets. The story unfolds with a lot of twists and turns and who is or are the real spies? And what is the goal of all this? There's a lot at stake and a terrorist attack is on the horizon related to these shenanigans.

Another good book by Baldacci that is worth a read. Available in paperback now.
