I had a .38 Special first generation that I shot Sierra 125 Blitz bullets out of, and it was sure fun, and accurate. It was purely death on frogs in the pond, too! I seldom, if ever, shot that gun SA, usually I just pulled the trigger and watched the frogs fly high. That gun caused more laughing outa me than just about anything except my prairie dog rifles.

LOL, I had a 4" blue Python in the late 80's to early 90's that was exactly the same way, plaster that front sight on a beer can and it was smoke, the only handgun I've ever owned that was near impossible to miss with.

What is this "obsolete" of which you speak? .357 wouldn't be my only gun, but after I had a .44 magnum and a good .22 rimfire, I'd be shopping for a .357. Somewhere down about 8th place you might find my first semi-auto.
