Those look pretty good...and the numbers look REALLY good. I've been debating between a 22-250 AI or a 22 CM for the next barrel buy. I was planning on a 1-8, but that was before I saw the Sierra 95 or the new 88 ELD. Likely will go for a 1:7 now, and am still leaning toward a 22-250 AI. Man, the 88's and 95's are still doing 2k to 1000 yards.

The twist will make the CM.

Seems factory .22-250 manufacturers just can’t get the twist right. You ‘bout gotta go custom to get that in a .22-250.

They may be out in ammo before they’re available as reloading components.

Not sure when they will hit the shelves but got a few in a baggie from a “dealer” and used some in the Creedmoor and next week hope to run some thru a Valkyrie that shipped I believe today.
I ran them out to 1000 and the .274 G7 seemed accurate but wind was tough so don’t have an accuracy report except at 330 yds shot sub .5 MOA and killed a coyote at 521 yds so they have potential.

I would recommend using 6.5 Brass versus 6mm brass which sounds counterintuitive but we have more consistent results.
I have over 600 rounds thru my Horizon built rifle and most of those were fired at predators with a few deer and pigs thrown in there.
Started with the 75 AMax then moved to 80 gr AMax then ran the 80.5 Berger one season then back to 80 gr ELD-m and just loaded a bunch of the 88gr ELD-M and shot a couple coyotes just to see how they performed.
I tried about half dozen powders and settled on Reloder 26.
3500 fps is possible with 24 inch barrel. I ran 3600 with 75 ‘s and Hornady brass but don’t expect long life.
My current load runs 3460 and have not been able to wear out the Lapua brass so far.

I haven’t asked Derrick at Horizon Firearms how many 22 Creedmoor’s he has built but just a wild guess there is probably 50-100 folks running them in Texas..... last contest I was in late spring seemed like everyone had one.

How fast were you running the 88's and how did they do on the coyotes?

So , just like all the other Creeds it does has a little less preformance than existing cartridges!! I don't get it!! Unless it is fired in an Ar platform! Otherwise useless!!

You'd be welcome to come out here next spring to our Icebreaker Shoot and attempt to "out perform" me with any of your rifles.

Go take a dump in one your own threads...….

Good deal Pat!

Looking forward to seeing how they do on the job...

Alright, let's get back on track here...

After getting my zero with one shot, this is the first five shoot group at 100 yards, prone from a bipod.
