About 10 years ago, maybe less, I was on vacation in PENN and stopped at a small gun shop and they a few Abolts in 284 WIN and 358 WIN, some kind of a limited run I guess.

No, it was a small gun shop in Shippenville, PENN, Route 66 Sporting Goods, not far from Grice though

I have a Micro-Medallion in 284 Win, it’s just about my favorite rifle.

I had one of these also.

While not the most robust tool in the shed, it was very accurate.

My favorite feature of the Aborts is the scissor spring driven magazine, it totally ends any porpusing of cartridges. Totally.

So far I have seen .284 in Browning bolt, Ruger 77, Win 88 and 100, Savage 99, BLR, M70, and a lot of customs. Pretty cool caliber.
