Nez are you still using the folks over by Brenham? I just got two glock 20 slides back from them, nicely done.
Still would like to have the 458 Win mag completely done for AK but may be running out of time faster than I thought... need to do the 300 mag barrel and wanted a couple new barrels on some of the bolt guns for hunting there, but if all works out I may fly the coop early next spring as soon as traveling is safe. Tired of this local BS...
Jeff . Yes, still using the same place. Whatever you decide on, I am can accommodate. I do have a nice 300 WM, a Jap made Weathery I bought it because the AI Arctic Warfare 300 WM was too heavy to lug around, but the sporter kicks too much that after sighting the scope I never shot it again.

Really? Honestly IMO, if you can't shoot 1/2 moa groups off a bipod, you need more practice. Including from field positions. It ain't that hard. F Class targets have a 1/2 MOA X ring. I've seen very few 200s shot (1 MOA 10 ring), but so far I haven't seen any 200-20Xs especially not with any ARs. Matter of a fact, I'm not aware of any simple 200s with an AR. So, in fact, it IS that hard. Yep. Most people over estimate the steadiness of a bipod.
You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.

I wasn't really calling him a bad shot. Just saying that if you think you are going to grab a 1/2 MOA gun and go out and shoot 1/2 MOA groups off of a bipod or a field expedient rest, you probably won't. Not without a lot of practice.

Seems like there was a thread around here not long ago that showed that to be quite difficult for almost everybody that participated. Maybe it's time for a bump.

Bipods are a bit tricky, unless you use F class with slick feet more or less.... especially to get .5 moa repeatable 10 shot groups....
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
