What's funny and ironic, is that NFLX stock was on a vertical climb for the last year, more than doubling in that time. 2-3 months ago, they announced the deal with the Obamas. They just came out with earnings from that quarter and had their first miss, dropping the stock about 15% overnight. Hmmm, probably just a coincidence... I own some NFLX. I just thought that was a buying opportunity. Can someone update the boycotted businesses again? I cant keep them straight. Another big drop for NFLX today. A little bit of that is from narrowly missing Q2 revenue projections but much more is due to missing projections on the number of subscribers. The subscriber thing is partially due to conservatives going elsewhere but a lot of it is competition that has come into the game recently that wasn't there before. Hopefully that means better prices no mater who you choose.

I switched from Netflix to Amazon Prime, but that was just because you get basically the same service, plus free shipping on items bough on Amazon, plus discounts, all for about the same money as Netflix. Still paying Bezos.

I canceled Netflix many years ago after one of their employees used my credit card # to buy a plane ticket. I learned of the purchase because I got a thank you from the airline. Netflix didn't even argue about the issue, but told me they would have police at the airport to arrest anyone cashing that ticket in for cash refund.

I canceled Netflix last week citing the following:
The content sucks. It’s just loads and loads of crap that I wouldn’t watch for free. 90% of the content on Netflix should never have been made. You’ve done little more than assemble an extensive collection globally sourced contrived story telling. The full audio auto preview mode, which can’t be turned off, is infuriating.
I wasn’t aware of any deal with the Obama’s, but Netflix is absolute shidt.

We left Netflix when they appointed Susan Rice to the Board. My wife brought it to my attention. We talked about it for a few minutes and decided to cancel. I called Netflix and got a hold of a woman. She confirmed the appointment of Susan Rice to their board, and also the production (money) deal with the Obama's. I told her that was why we were cancelling. She was surprisingly pleasant, and cancelled us effective immediately, and refunded the monthly charge that was to go through that day.

LOL, I went to the Amazon Prime Video page and one of their top exclusive shows is call "I Love Dick". I immediately closed the web site.
